Franklin Graham Prays ‘God Will Guide… Her Steps’ as Tulsi Gabbard Walks Away from the Democratic Party

Today Tulsi Gabbard grabbed the spotlight by announcing she was done with today’s Democratic Party. In a video announcement posted to Twitter, she had some harsh words for the current-day Democratic Party.

Evangelist Franklin Graham shared the news of Gabbard’s departure calling her good friend and announcing he is praying for God to guide her.

Graham’s full statement on Tulsi’s departure reads:

“Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard posted a video on Twitter announcing that she is leaving the Democratic Party and calling on “fellow common sense independent-minded Democrats to join me.” In explaining her decision Tulsi said, among other things, that today’s Democratic Party is “driven by cowardly wokeness” and is “hostile to people of faith & spirituality.”

“She also denounced those on the Left “who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism” and who “actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms.” In her announcement Tulsi said, “I believe in a government that is of, by, and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not.”

“Newt Gingrich said in an interview that Tulsi is one of many Americans who have traditionally voted blue but now find the Democrats unrecognizable. Tulsi is a good friend and a very smart person who loves and serves her country. I’m not sure where Tulsi is going, but I am praying for her, that God will guide and direct her steps. I hope her decision will make a lot of people think about what has happened to the Democratic Party.”

Gabbard has always held on to her beliefs and opinions even when they went against her own party. She ran in 202 for the Democratic Presidential nominee. She has been attacked by those within her party for not falling in line and disagreeing with the way the party operates.

Hilliary Clinton notably called Tulsi a Russian asset at one point, Gabbard filed a lawsuit against the former secretary of state for her comments. Clinton suggested that the Russians were “grooming” Tulsi, as many of her opinions did not fall within party lines.

Instead of letting the Democratic party cancel her Tulsi has stood against them while calling for change within, as this has failed it seems she sees her only option to leave the party and call on those who are fed up as she is to do the same.

With her departure, she called out the party for “actively working to undermine our God-given freedoms” and dividing “us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism”.

The ruling class of the Democratic party may be facing a harsh reality with less than thirty days until the midterms.
