U.S. House Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) announced today that she has tested positive for COVID-19 and is “experiencing symptoms.”
The positive tests comes after she was busted on a vacation to Florida and then she ended up criticizing GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis.
A statement released by Ocasio-Cortez’s office reported, “Representative Ocasio-Cortez has received a positive test result for COVID-19.”
“She is experiencing symptoms and recovering at home,” the statement continued.
The statement concluded, “The congresswoman received her booster shot this Fall, and encourages everyone to get their booster and follow all CDC guidelines.”

Last Sunday, we reported that Ocasio-Cortez was spotted partying in Miami as a progressive group shared a video of her at a drag queen bar as well as a picture of her with LGBT actor Billy Porter.
In the video, the crowd can be seen cheering Ocasio-Cortez as it appears as though one of the drag queens is speaking. Everybody in the video appears maskless, although the event is outdoors.
That came four days after she was first seen in the city having drinks with her partner, maskless as well.
