We reported yesterday that GOP Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers called Sesame Street character Big Bird a communist after the oversized bird tweeted out that it had gotten vaccinated.
U.S. Sen Ted Cruz (R-TX) also offered his criticisms of the “propaganda” being pushed by those who are in charge of the children’s show.
President Joe Biden decided to also weigh in on the situation, much to the chagrin of many of his supporters, who had criticized the Republicans for doing the same.
In a response to Big Bird’s tweet, Biden declared, “Good on ya, @BigBird. Getting vaccinated is the best way to keep your whole neighborhood safe.”

U.S. House Rep Paul Gosar (R-AZ) came to Rogers defense and agreed with her after a verified Twitter user criticized her tweet.
In a quote tweet of the frontman for the band Hayseed Dixie, John Wheeler, Gosar asked, “Is Big Bird a commie as @WendyRogersAZ (posted)?”
Gosar then listed out that Big Bird, “Is over 50 but has no wife and prefers to hang around kids, part of a ‘flock’ of believers who refer to themselves as comrade, lives off Gov’t handouts, engages in agitprop,” and “believes in coercion. Verdict: True.”

Journalist Kyle Becker lectured Biden in regards to his response to Big Bird and told him that he was “Reporting you @POTUS for Covid misinformation.”
“As even your @CDCDirector tried to tell you, these ‘vaccines’ don’t significantly stop transmission,” Becker explained.
Becker then shared a Bloomberg article and quoted an excerpt that read, “People inoculated against Covid-19 are just as likely to spread the delta variant of the virus to contacts in their household as those who haven’t had shots, according to new research.”
