A recent news release from Colorado’s Democratic Secretary of State Jena Griswold stated that her office adopted emergency elections rules prohibiting third-parties from accessing voting equipment.
Griswold declared, “Colorado’s elections are considered the safest in the nation, and we must remain steadfast in our dedication to security.”
“Along those lines, no third-party person or vendor will be permitted access to voting equipment in our state. We will not risk the state’s election security nor perpetuate The Big Lie. Sham audits have no place in Colorado,” Grisworld added.
Republicans questioned why Griswold would put these new rules in place if she had nothing to hide including U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO).
In a tweet yesterday morning, Boebert reported that, “The Colorado Secretary of State has just moved to ban any possible election audit in the state of Colorado.
Boebert exclaimed, “Democrats are consistently terrified of election integrity!”

Democrats are consistently terrified of election integrity!
In a later tweet, Boebert noted, “Colorado’s Secretary of State just moving to ban election audits just made everyone think Colorado needs an election audit.”

The Colorado GOP also released a statement yesterday on the matter where they called Griswold “A partisan hack who always misses the opportunity to lead.”
“It’s sad to see she continues to use her taxpayer-funded office for a purely partisan agenda and performative rule making,” they added in the statement.

Today, Arizona Republican State Senator Wendy Rogers retweeted a tweet by Griswold where she announced the ban and remarked simply, “Sounds guilty.”
