Following former President and 2024 GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump’s rally in Waco, Texas, Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany praised him while offering another strong rebuke of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s investigation.
McEnany announced in a tweet, “Just watched President @realDonaldTrump’s Waco rally.”
“He loves this country and in no way deserves the potential sham Alvin Bragg never-before-brought, novelty charges,” McEnany insisted.
Since leaving the White House, McEnany’s tweets have typically only received limited pushback from those on the left, but this one attracted the attention of many including leftist horror author Stephen King.
King told McEnany in response, “C’mon, Kayleigh—he’s a nut.” McEnany had recently had kind words for Mike Pence after he appeared on Sean Hannity’s Fox News program so perhaps that has gotten some leftists to believe she might be at odds with her former boss.

As we previously reported, McEnany pushed back on Bragg after he sent a letter to Congress accusing calling oversight an “unprecedented inquiry.”
McEnany described the letter as being “off base” as she also listed reasons why it was absurd for him to suggest it’s the other way around.
In a tweet, McEnany shared a clip from the segment and said, “Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg calls congressional oversight ‘an unprecedented inquiry into a pending local prosecution.’”
“But experts say his case against President @realDonaldTrump is off base and unprecedented via @OutnumberedFNC,” McEnany added.
In the clip, McEnany began, “Alvin Bragg, hate to tell you, but your letter is totally off base.” McEnany then pointed out that even the New York Times spoke to election law experts who said that “never in history has New York State brought a case about a federal election.”
“Alvin Bragg, whew, it must feel a little hot in his office because his case is unraveling,” McEnany jested before listing a couple of reasons why she believes it is.
