Fox News Commentator Mark Simone told Larry Kudlow, “the Bushes” are running Ron DeSantis’ campaign. He also added that Karl Rove is involved, he expects Karl Rove “will be the coach on the field”.
Kudlow asks Simone, “Do you know?” He asked to make sure this news isn’t just conjecture of speculation. Simone confirmed that Rove’s been “advising” DeSantis.

In 2008, The Hill labeled George Bush, Joe Lieberman, John McCain, and Karl Rove as The “Neocon A-Team”.
DeSantis has recently echoed McCain and Romney when discussing Vladimir Putin and Ukraine. DeSantis used a neocon analogy that both McCain and Romney had previously used. In the same interview, DeSantis also shared a change in his position on the war in Ukraine.
He had previously said it was just a territorial dispute, and in the interview now called Putin a “war criminal”. To some, it appears that DeSants is not beating the drums of war along with the other neocons.

Friday’s New York Times ran an opinion piece titled, “Don’t Be Fooled. Ron DeSantis Is a Bush-Cheney Republican.” To those who have paid close attention this news isn’t a surprise.
DeSantis has portrayed himself as a MAGA Republican, he has used signs and verbiage to appear to be one. His actions were well veiled until recently. The more he talks, the more he sounds like the Bush wing of the Republican party.
DeSantis has been moving away from any association with Donald Trump. When asked about the possible indictment of the former president, DeSantis poked fun at Trump and the situation. He then announced he would be staying out of it.
For those hoping Trump and DeSantis would be a ticket, DeSantis shared on Friday that he has no interest in being Trump’s VP. Telling Eric Bolling, “I think I’m probably more of an executive guy.”
We will see if he announces as it appears he has the backing of the neocons.

The Bushes are the kiss of death for DeSantis. If Ron doesn’t know the republican electorate loathes Rove, Jeb!, GW, with a passion by now, he isn’t as smart as we may think he is. When seemingly good people make an odd turn, there is either a lot of money or threatening power behind it. That means, the outcome of their nefarious plans have been revealed and DeSantis realizes there is not way to beat this. The new world order has too many roots. DeSantis’s future as a presidential candidate died today. Even if Trump doesn’t run for some reason, his supporters will not jump to Ron at this point so he will never have a majority against the measliest democrat.

There is no requirement to stop being Governor when you run for President. Reagan was Governor when he started his first run for President.

DeSantis needs to go back and read how people felt about Bush after his 2nd term as president. Even repubs couldn’t wait for him to get out of office! Bush is why Obama won and this is who DeSantis wants to hook up with?! He deserves to lose if that’s the company he keeps. He also will be kissing his chances of running in 2028 goodbye, if he isn’t careful.
Now that DeSantis has been exposed as a Deep State closeted globalist, war mongering war pig RINO who has a small army of drooling, Deep State Swamp RINO and NEOCON rats lined up behind him – even if he decides to sit out 2024 and then run in 2028, he is still a RINO and a tool of the Deep State. This means that whoever Trump chooses to be his VP has to be 100 percent pro-MAGA and fully on board with the MAGA ideology. If he picks a VP who fits that mold – they will be a better choice in 2028 than Deep State DeSantis.
I doubt that DeSantis has ever really been a committed pro-MAGA politician. He might agree with some of the positions of the MAGA movement – but, those could be efforts on his part to snooker the MAGA voters into trusting him when he runs for the White House. They tend to align themselves with Obama and the Clintons, and these days lean very much more democrat, and not at all Conservative Republican.
