Left leaning CNN, trusted far and wide by left leaning fact-checkers, reports that while Joe Biden is now dealing with Covid-19, he has more Hunter Biden worries.
Yes, the federal investigation of the president’s son’s overseas business dealings has “reached a critical juncture”.
CNN even reported in part that

It’s funny to us to consider that elections and political sensitivity should have anything to with the blind scales of Lady Justice. Will the Lady even keep her name in today’s ”politically sensitive” world? That may be for another article, another time.
No final decision has been made on whether to charge Hunter for his overseas business dealings. President Joe has said that he never talks to Hunter about such things. Later evidence as reported in various news outlets determined that statement to be unlikely.
CNN’s ”sources” say the probe has intensified however, and that Delaware based prosecutors may be part of the discussion now.
David Weiss, the US Attorney in Delaware, is leading the probe, which dates back to as early as 2018.
Weiss was appointed by former President Donald Trump, who could also be running in 2024.
Possible tax violations and a false statement surrounding a firearm purchase seem to be some of the things Hunter is in potential hot water for. Republicans have played tough, claiming to turn the tables on Democrat investigations, should they win upcoming mid-term elections.
Hunter could be in more trouble than the aforementioned. However, the big question is whether or not his Dad, being the POTUS, would be dragged into any possible charges and investigations.
It’s too soon speculate for sure on what might happen. We do know that if it was Donald Trump and his sons however, the dramatic intensity on every news channel would be much higher. Donald Trump was investigated for a Russian hoax for a large part of his first term.
Republicans may want to hold some current and former elected Democrats accountable for that too, perhaps beyond the Durham investigation. Many Republicans feel Democrats are guilty themselves in reality for many things they accuse others of.
Only time can tell what daylight comes on all this drama.
