Hunter Biden’s Book Sales Tank Despite Massive Media Blitz, Sells Less Than 11k Copies in First Week

When Michelle Obama released her autobiography “Becoming” in 2018, the former First Lady sold 1.4 million copies in the book’s first week.

For President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden, however, things were quite a bit different when he released his autobiography last week.

According to Publishers Weekly, Hunter’s autobiography sold just 10,638 copies in its first week and is currently number 208 on Amazon Best Seller’s list.

The sales tanked despite heavy promotion from CNN, CBS News and ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Hunter’s book, “Beautiful Things: A Memoir” finished behind 11 other hardcover nonfiction books as Amanda Gorman’s “The Hill We Climb: An Inaugural Poem for the Country,” sold 42,318 copies to finish atop the list.

Fox News pointed out that their host Shannon Bream’s new book, “The Women of the Bible Speak: The Wisdom of 16 Women and Their Lessons for Today,” sold 32,686 copies during the same timeframe to finish second.

The executive producer of Megyn Kelly’s show, Steve Krakauer, said that “Despite heavy promotion on CBS News and Jimmy Kimmel, Hunter Biden’s book sells just 10,600 copies – somehow enough to find itself #4 by the shady metrics that determine the New York Times’ Best Sellers List.”

Fox News reported in part:

CBS News showcased Hunter Biden across its platforms, generating headlines on everything from the president’s son admitting he has smoked parmesan cheese because it resembles crack to claims he does not know whether the infamous laptop, first reported on by the New York Post during his father’s presidential campaign, was actually his.

Asked whether it “could” have been his laptop, Hunter Biden responded: “Of course certainly. It, it, there could be a laptop out there that was stolen from me. It could be that I was hacked. It could be that it was the — that it was Russian intelligence. It could be that it was stolen from me.”

Previously, we reported:

An article in the Daily Mail yesterday revealed new photos of President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden, that they say were taken from his laptop. They also said there were text messages, videos, and emails that were of a sensitive nature.

Conservative activist Candace Owens joined Sean Hannity last night on his Fox News show and discussed the recent revelations.

Owens called the revelations “despicable” and “perverse.” She asked “where is the #Metoo movement” and “Black Lives Matter” in regards to the revelations.

In reference to the photos and videos that showed Hunter with women, Owens asked, “The #Metoo movement, wasn’t that about men in power utilizing women against their will… are we supposed to believe that these women gave their consent?”

Owens said in regards to BLM that the current president was the “author of the three strikes policy” and lamented the lack of prison time for his son for things that black people have been locked for over the years.
