Elon Musk today responded to a Babylon Bee article that mocked Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors.
In response to a tweet about the article, Musk deadpanned, “I can’t tell satire from reality these days.”
“Does she really own four houses?” Musk wondered.
The satire article suggested that “BLM leaders estimate it may take another few more months of violent activism until Cullors can afford her 5th dream home.”

As we previously reported, Cullors stepped down from her as Executive Director of the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation.
Cullors was accused of using Black Lives Matter money to buy four homes, although USA Today “fact-checked” that claim.
The news outlet said there is no proof that Black Lives Matter donations are linked to the payment of all her homes.
However, it seems likely that Cullors could have used her position in the organization to obtain the positions that gave her the ability to make the purchases in our view.
At the time, Cullors claimed though, that criticism, at least from the right wing, is not why she was stepping down.
“Those were right-wing attacks that tried to discredit my character, and I don’t operate off of what the right thinks about me,” Cullors insisted.
