Ilhan Omar Praises Tucker Carlson’s Call For Senate Insider Traders to Resign and Face Prosecution

After recently praising President Trump for his handling recently of decisions regarding the Coronavirus, last night Ilhan Omar tweeted out support and a shocked face for Tucker Carlson after he called for Richard Burr to resign and face prosecution if he cannot provide a reasonable explanation for his actions.

This morning, fellow ‘squad’ member AOC called it “shocking” that members of Congress have been “allowed” to own stock. Omar agreed and said, “They shouldn’t and @AngieCraigMN’s bill bans them from doing just that. I am signing on to the Humble Act today and encourage members to do the same.”

Democrat House Rep Angie Craig introduced the Humble Act last June and it would, “Impose a ban on individual stock ownership for Members.” The latest action on it, H.R.3419, is, “Referred to the Committee on House Administration, and in addition to the Committees on Rules, Ethics, and the Judiciary, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.”

Parody Twitter account, God, summed up many Democrat’s likely feelings at this point regarding the situation and a potential admission, “…the world’s a table that’s been flipped over. Up is down. Right is left. I exist.”
