US House Rep (D-MN) and at least 6 other House Democrats are calling for the removal of President Trump, 14 days before the planned inauguration of Joe Biden according to most reports. Omar is also trying to impeach President Trump again.
“I am drawing up Articles of Impeachment. Donald J. Trump should be impeached by the House of Representatives & removed from office by the United States Senate. We can’t allow him to remain in office, it’s a matter of preserving our Republic and we need to fulfill our oath.”

Donald J. Trump should be impeached by the House of Representatives & removed from office by the United States Senate.
We can’t allow him to remain in office, it’s a matter of preserving our Republic and we need to fulfill our oath.
It seems the Democrats want to tarnish President Trump’s legacy and try to make it harder for him to potentially run in 2024 if Joe Biden is sworn in a couple weeks from now.
This comes after Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington D.C. today which resulted in at least one person getting shot and Blaze Reporter Elijah Schaffer posted a picture from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) office while looking at her emails.
Ilhan Omar also tweeted out:
“Rest assured, this day will not end without us finishing the work Congress is supposed to carry out. We will not let our Constitution be trampled on by a mob and threaten by a tyrant. Democracy will prevail.”

We will not let our Constitution be trampled on by a mob and threaten by a tyrant.
Democracy will prevail.
No word on if she is still ok with rioting and looting from left-wing groups, and is only against protests from right wing groups, or if she is fully against both. We will bring further reports on this news as we are able to.
There may not be enough time for this impeachment to actually happen, but today’s situation has definitely been a watershed moment that will dominate the news cycle for some time now.
