At her weekly press conference held today, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was asked about Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky’s request for a no-fly zone over his country.
Pelosi said that she had spoken with the speaker of the Ukrainian parliament and that “they know that we can’t go there.”
“Putin is trying to bait the trap so that we go in and that could be the beginning of WWIII,” Pelosi claimed.

Blinken’s remarks came during a joint press conference alongside U.K. Foreign Secretary Elizabeth Truss.
Imposing that rule in airspace where Russian planes are already flying could lead to the shooting down of Russian aircraft over Ukraine.
