‘It’s About the Children…’ Chip Roy Chides Nancy Pelosi After Video Shows Her Elbowing Mayra Flores’ Daughter During Swearing-In Ceremony

A video that has gone viral shows House Speaker Nancy Pelosi elbowing Mayra Flores’ daughter during her recent swearing-in ceremony.

The video was originally shared by Twitter user “Desi” who quipped, “Nancy Pelosi, we saw what you did to Republican @MayraFlores2022 kid at her swearing in.”

U.S. House Rep Chip Roy (R-TX) chided Pelosi in a quote tweet where he noted, “‘It’s about the children…’ says @SpeakerPelosi.”

Supporters of Pelosi suggested that the clip perhaps was doctored but the video of Flores’ swearing-in very clearly shows that it is what happened.

TPUSA’s Benny Johnson also shared the clip in a tweet where he declared, “Nancy Pelosi ELBOWS the little daughter of new GOP Congresswoman Mayra Flores — what a witch.”

Another Twitter user shared the clip and said, “Nancy tried to bully Mayra Flores’ Daughter, but our little queen stood her ground!!”

“Evil witch Nancy Pelosi pushes Mayra Flores’ daughter to the side during the swearing ceremony,” Twitter user “Art TakingBack” said while sharing the clip in a tweet.

So far, it doesn’t appear that Flores has commented on the incident, but we will update if she does.
