Jack Dorsey Reportedly Out As Twitter CEO, Candace Owens Warns It Could Lead to More ‘Censorship’

It was reported this morning that Jack Dorsey has resigned as the CEO at Twitter and conservative commentator Candace Owens reacted to the news by warning that it could lead to more “censorship.”

Many have not been happy with Dorsey during his tenure and some have suggested that it could signal a return to the platform by former President Donald Trump, but that seems unlikely.

Zerohedge had reported earlier in a tweet, “JACK DORSEY STEPPING DOWN AS TWITTER CEO: CNBC”

“Not a Jack Dorsey fan, but this means censorship is about to get much worse at Twitter dot com,” Trump-supporting verified Twitter user Daniel Bostic said in a quote tweet of Zerohedge.

Owens then weighed in, quote tweeting Bostic and explaining, “This is the right take. I’ve been telling people for years. Jack Dorsey is not your enemy. He is a prisoner at his own company.”

“Good thing the Parler app is finally working properly and looks amazing. The communists will fully run Twitter soon,” Owens declared.

Shares of Twitter stock jumped at the opening of the trade this morning, although the gains have fallen some, it is still up over 3%.

Dorsey had been CEO of the company since Sept. 30, 2015.
