The Former United States Director of National Intelligence James Clapper’s name was caught up in a list among other’s who were involved in the unmasking of General Michael Flynn’s name earlier this week. Other names on the list were presidential candidate Joe Biden (who previously denied involvement), former FBI director who was fired by President Trump James Comey, and former Obama Chief of Staff named Denis McDonough, and John Brennan.
The names being revealed has caused a whirlwind of controversy fueling the flames of President Trump’s accusals that he, Michael Flynn and others were set up by former President Barack Obama and other “deep state” actors. In an interview on CNN, James Clapper was asked about it and he said he’d be glad to testify about it, just as soon as he gets a COVID-19 vaccine of course.
There’s no telling how long that would be, so that’s a very convenient and almost laughable answer. He said because of his age it may be dangerous to testify and risk transmitting the disease. He must have failed to remember that just the other day Dr. Tony Fauci testified before the U.S. Senate view webcam from him home. WATCH:

President Trump has called on Lindsey Graham to get Barack Obama and others to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Graham, being the Chairman of the committee has stopped short of calling for Obama to come to the hearings for investigating the origins of the Russian investigation. It’s unclear at this point who will testify, and how things will unravel in the committee but it’s certainly not looking good for the “unmasking list” and the Democrats at this point.
In light of General Flynn’s unmasking by the Obama Administration, the job of Congress will be to perform oversight of these unmasking requests to ensure the process was used for legitimate national security concerns, not reprisals or political curiosity.
