The House Judiciary Committee, of which New York Rep. Jerry Nadler is the Chairman, tweeted out this morning quotes from him rebuffing President Trump’s efforts to ensure that the election is fully verified before declaring Joe Biden as the next president.
Nadler said that he is “heartened by the Republican officials, men and women of good conscience, who have stepped forward in recent days to demand that President Trump begin the transition to President-Elect Biden.”
Taking it a step further, Nadler continued and said, “I now ask that my Republican colleagues in the House of Representatives do the same. One way or the other, Donald Trump will be out of office in a matter of weeks. History will remember their conduct between now and then.”

The GOP House Judiciary, of which Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan is the ranking member, responded and said that Nadler, “never accepted the results of the 2016 election and spent four years blaming it on a fake Russia scandal. History will remember that for sure.”

Jordan retweeted that response and earlier retweeted a video from August where he predicted how the election would go with an uncanny accuracy.
He said of that video, “We tried to warn you. The Democrats knew what they were doing and ignored us.”
In the video from August 24th, Jordan said, “This is about [the Democrats] wanting chaos and confusion… They know that on Election Day, President Trump’s going to win, and they want to keep counting — six weeks, four weeks…”

Nadler appeared to back up Jordan’s words when he sent out a tweet and said, “As we transition to a Biden presidency, today I joined with fellow Committee Chairs in directing the Trump Admin to preserve all info responsive to congressional subpoenas & investigations. After four years of obstruction, America deserves accountability.”
