CNN anchor Jim Acosta today cited an anonymous adviser to former President Donald Trump who supposedly said that Trump was “livid” and “screaming at everyone” over the midterm election results.
Acosta made the accusation in a tweet this morning where he said, “‘Trump is livid’ and ‘screaming at everyone,’ after last night’s disappointing midterm results for GOP, according to a Trump adviser.”
“The adviser went on to slam the former president’s handpicked contenders: ‘they were all bad candidates.’ ‘Candidates matter,’ the adviser said,” Acosta continued.
Acosta reported in a reply, “This adviser said it’s unlikely Trump would delay his expected presidential announcement because ‘it’s too humiliating to delay.'”
“But the adviser said there are too many unknowns at this point,” Acosta added.

With the full picture of the election not even in focus yet as results are still being tallied, it would seem to be a rush to judgment to be too upset about the results at this point.
Time will tell how it all shakes out, although many are saying that things aren’t looking as good as what was originally expected for Republicans.
