Jim Jordan Pushes Back After Kamala Harris Calls Criticism of Her Previous Support of Minnesota Freedom Fund ‘Misinformation and Disinformation’

U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) today pushed back after Kamala Harris called criticism of her previous support of the Minnesota Freedom Fund “misinformation.”

Jordan declared in a tweet today, “The Left defunded the police and let criminals out of jail. Just reminding you.”

Harris was asked during an interview with WCCO 4 News about a press conference that was being held by the Minnesota GOP to shed light on her previous support for the fund.

Esme Murphy, who conducted the interview, did her best to help Harris out, however, while asking the question, she suggested that the fund had been “warped into something else” other than what it was originally setup for.

“Well first of all, I am a child of parents who marched for civil rights in the 1960s in America and I have always been and will always be a supporter of peaceful protests,” Harris began.

Harris then noted that “many peaceful protests over the history of our country have led to an expansion of rights and an expansion of civil rights, so that’s where I stand on peaceful protests.”

Without pointing out that there were many non-peaceful protests that occurred in the summer of 2020, Harris then claimed that “I think that unfortunately what we’re seeing are people playing political games right now.”

“We are eighteen days away from midterms and we have sadly not seen a lack of misinformation and disinformation and I think this is another one of those examples,” Harris concluded.

It seems that Democrats think they can get away with calling any criticism misinformation, but as the RNC pointed out, Harris’ June 2020 tweet “is literally still up.”
