We reported Tuesday about a committee in Washington D.C. that wanted to change some the landscape and wording on historic monuments, memorials, and buildings in the city.
US House Rep. Jim Jordan was one of the original GOP representatives who spoke out and today he added on to what he said then. He said, “Americans love America.”
“They don’t want to: Relocate the Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial. Remove Benjamin Franklin and Andrew Jackson statues. Rename Alexander Graham Bell and Francis Scott Key buildings.”

They don’t want to:
-Relocate the Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial.
-Remove Benjamin Franklin and Andrew Jackson statues.
-Rename Alexander Graham Bell and Francis Scott Key buildings.
Tucker Carlson discussed the situation on Tuesday night and asked, “who’s lives would get better” if they followed through with the plans. He brought on Bob Woodson, who said that the leaders were “flirting with a very dangerous impulse.”

Woodson brought up the French Revolution and what they “tried to do was re-write history and destroying the symbols of history. What you are seeing around the country are guillotines being established.”
