Disgraced former Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH), who resigned in 2015 after facing a no confidence challenge to his leadership from the 40+ members of the conservative Freedom Caucus, called out the deputy chair of the caucus, Rep Jim Jordan (R-OH) in an interview that aired yesterday.
When asked who he thought were “political terrorists” within the party, Boehner said, “Jim Jordan especially, my colleague from Ohio. I just never saw a guy who spent more time tearing things apart ― never building anything, never putting anything together.”
Jordan has become a leading critic of the Biden/Harris administration lately, in regards to the crisis at the southern border especially, having recently visited with a delegation and held a press conference.
The president and vice president have drawn criticism recently for having still not visited the border themselves, despite the on-going surge of illegal immigrants.
In a tweet, Jordan asked, “Why won’t President Biden or Vice President Harris visit the southern border?”
Answering his own question, Jordan said that he believes it’s “Because they don’t want you to see how bad it really is.”
Why won’t President Biden or Vice President Harris visit the southern border?

Because they don’t want you to see how bad it really is.
A recent NBC News article reported that “Confusion clouds Harris immigration role” and that “The White House has been forced to clarify multiple times that the vice president is focused on the root causes of migration, not the challenges at the southern border.”
Yesterday, an editorial in the New York Post suggested that “Biden, Harris won’t address migrant surge’s ‘root causes’ because they are one.”
From the New York Post:
Border Patrol agents nabbed about 168,000 people crossing at the southern border in March, a 20-year high. Yet neither President Joe Biden nor Vice President Kamala Harris, who he’s put in charge of dealing with the “root causes” of the migrant surge, has deigned to visit the border — or, indeed, done anything to address the crisis, including its “root causes.” It’s clear they simply don’t care.
Biden’s “border czar” last month admitted the administration has been sending “mixed messages” to migrants. Was that honest frustration part of why she announced her resignation Friday, not even three months into her tenure?
Central Americans don’t seem to think the messages are mixed at all: The number of illegal-migrant encounters at the border rose more than 71 percent from February to March because Biden’s policies say “Come on in!” His first day in office, the prez ordered the end of all wall-building at the border and a 100-day pause on deportations.
And he hasn’t looked back, despite the record-high numbers of migrants and, worse, unaccompanied minors in federal custody. His 2022 budget plan calls for a 16 percent hike in domestic spending — but not a cent for border security.
The only move Team Biden has even considered is sending cash to Central Americans to keep them where they are. It offered no details, with now-exiting border czar Roberta Jacobson saying simply, “The one thing I can promise you is the US government isn’t going to be handing out money or checks to people.” Yet most of the aid America has sent to the region has gone to corrupt governments — why does Biden think his money will somehow change the game?
Taxpayers are already spending more than $60 million a week for the 16,500 unaccompanied minors in custody. Biden and Harris called the facilities housing them inhumane when Donald Trump was in the White House, but their administration has a record number of kids in custody. Their policies only encourage families to send their kids on the dangerous trek. Smugglers literally dropped a 3- and a 5-year-old over the border, and still the pair do nothing to discourage the practice.
