Jim Jordan Says ‘Keep Fighting Back’ After Hundreds Attend ‘Worship Protest’ in Seattle Street

A side street across from Gas Works Park in Seattle, Washington was packed tightly with people with a message, “We’re just out here worshipping Jesus,” said attendee Vlad Kostenko.

After the city of Seattle had closed the park for Labor Day, ahead of “anticipated crowding,” worship leader Sean Frucht said on his Twitter they would gather anyway – “Welcome to Seattle’s largest worship protest! Let’s Sing!!!”

US Congressman Jim Jordan retweeted a news story on the gathering and had a message for the worshipers. In addition to his new apparent mantra, “Americans love America,” he also encouraged them, saying, “Keep fighting back!”

At a Coronavirus hearing in July, Jordan criticized Democrats because he believes that they think “protesting is a lot more important than going to church.”

After the rally, Frucht tweeted out, “God is on the move!  He’s calling His church into a new season of worship and obedience, and we are going follow Him, and there is absolutely NOTHING that can stop us!”

He also said that there were people “wearing hazmat suits, carrying bowls of blood, they wanted to disrupt our worship rally last night in Seattle.” He provided pictures and asked, “how crazy is that?!!!”
