U.S. House Rep Jim Jordan (R-OH) today slammed the Biden Administration for squandering the “secure border” that former President Donald Trump left after Fox News’ Bill Melugin shared a new video that shows a large illegal immigrant caravan crossing into Texas.
Melugin said in a tweet where he shared the video, “BREAKING: A huge migrant caravan of over 1,000 people crossed illegally into El Paso, TX last night, making it the largest single group we have ever seen.”
“The city of El Paso reports Border Patrol now has over 5,000 in custody & has released hundreds to city streets. @FoxNews,” Melugin explained.
Melugin shared another video and added in a follow-up, “This caravan of nearly 20 migrant buses was escorted by Mexican police into Ciudad Juarez before they crossed en masse into El Paso, TX.”
In a quote tweet of Melugin, Jordan declared, “We went from a secure border under President Trump’s watch, to this.”

Twitter owner Elon Musk also weighed in on the video as he stated simply in a reply to Melugin, “Wow.”

Last week, we reported that a border patrol agent was killed while chasing illegal immigrants near the southern border in Texas.
U.S. House Rep Mayra Flores (R-TX) tweeted a tribute to the agent, 38-year-old Raul Gonzalez.
“My condolences to the family & friends of Border Patrol Agent Raul Gonzalez. He was tragically killed in an ATV accident while protecting our borders. Many knew him as a great father & as a go getter at work. We are forever grateful for his service and sacrifice,” Flores said in the tweet.
