U.S. House Rep Jim Jordan (R-OH) responded today after Hunter Biden refused to testify privately before two House Committees.
Biden had been subpoenaed to appear for a closed-door deposition before the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees.
After Biden gave a press conference in front of the U.S. Capitol, Jordan focused on some of the language that Biden used.
In a post to X, Jordan recounted various statements that were given in the past related to connections between Hunter Biden and his father, Joe Biden:
- “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.β -Joe Biden, 2019
- βThe President was never in business with his son.β – @PressSec, July 2023
- βMy father was not involved ππ’π§ππ§ππ’ππ₯π₯π² in my business.β -Hunter Biden, today
Jordan then insisted, “The story keeps changing!”
