Joe Biden Has Tested Positive for Covid-19 at 79 Years Old

President Joe Biden has Covid-19. He is experiencing mild symptoms. Biden is vaccinated and reportedly ”double boosted”.

Biden has not yet tested positive for Covid-19 until now. This despite many around him having been infected previously. It’s probably safe to assume the president takes extra precautions than your every day Joe, no pun intended.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said: “This morning, President Biden tested positive for Covid-19. He is fully vaccinated and twice boosted and experiencing very mild symptoms. He has begun taking Paxlovid. Consistent with CDC guidelines, he will isolate at the White House and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time.”

This all comes at a time where Biden’s approval ratings are in the tank and his son Hunter is under major scrutiny for drugs and other things.

Time will tell how Biden weathers the infection and how long he takes to rest. It’s unclear if he has the newest variant, which many outlets reported may be dangerous.

We will update this developing story as needed.
