Joe Scarborough Furious at Lindsey Graham Riot Comments, ’They’ Act Like There Were no Peaceful BLM Marches

This morning, MSNBC’s “Moring Joe” Host Joe Scarborough was amped up over a comment U.S. Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) made at the possibility of people “rioting” over possible charges for former President Trump after the raid at Mar-A-Lago.

Former President Trump’s Florida home was raided over top secret documents he allegedly brought to Mar-A-Lago after he vacated the White House.

The reasoning presented by the FBI and DOJ up to this point in the release of the search warrant and a redacted affidavit has left many unsettled. The way in which the handling of retrieving the documents has gone seems to go against past precedent.

Scarborough is clearly flustered and points out that after January 6th Graham was off the Trump train saying, “Yeah, you know, actually, he said he was off the Trump train, that he stepped off after Jan. 6, after those riots,” Scarborough continued on January 6th saying, “He cared about the riots until three people and a hound dog chased him in Washington National Airport, then he got right back on the train.”

Joe then states Graham had no interest in investigating January 6th”It’s fascinating that he talks about riots. I don’t have a really good memory, I can’t remember, but I think we had riots on Jan. 6, and when you had leaders trying to get people like Lindsey Graham to support an investigation into those riots, he had no interest in that, had no interest in investigating those riots.”

Scarborough finds it “rich” that Graham seems concerned with Republicans possibly rioting. He continues, “But now, he is worried about riots in the future, coming from Republicans, coming from his party, coming from Donald Trump supporters?”

He brings up the BLM riots that occurred throughout 2021, “Again, also, the irony is so rich, these people that talked about riots, Black Lives Matter riots, it’s all they talk about. Seriously, it acts as if there were no peaceful marches at all — riots, riots, it’s all they talk about.”

He then accuses the Senator of threatening riots and risking democracy, “Yet they’re fine when Trump riots are actually putting democracy at risk, when they’re trying to overturn an election result. Lindsey is even fine threatening riots, saying, you know, Trump supporters will riot in the streets, there will be violence if he is held to account, if he broke the law.”

Scarborough’s comments seem to be all over the place. He is clearly upset with Senator Graham’s commentary. Graham’s comments come with many in the middle class feeling uncomfortable with the presentation from the DOJ and FBI, which many seem to believe have been weaponized against the current administration to go after those with opposing views, including the former president. To add to the concern congress recently added funding for an astounding number of IRS agents to assist in auditing. While we have been told that is only to audit those in the upper-income time will tell who gets audited.
