John McAfee Tweeted in 2020 That he Did Not Plan Suicide and Wanted People to be Skeptical in Eery Epstein Reference

It is being reported that John McAfee has died in prison by what his lawyers are claiming to be suicide by hanging. In a tweet from prison in 2020, McAfee said, “I am content in here. I have friends. The food is good. All is well. Know that if I hang myself, ala Epstein, it will be no fault of mine.“

Nine months after this tweet and with extradition back to the US pending McAfee’s lawyers are telling the public that he apparently committed suicide by hanging himself. With this information and all of the speculation around Epstein’s apparent suicide, that many find hard to fathom, it is a hard pill to swallow.

McAfee had become more and more controversial with age. He became less known for the antivirus software than for the way he was living.

We reported earlier about his passing:

“The antivirus software company founder John McAfee has been found dead. It is being reported that he was in a Spanish jail when he apparently committed suicide. It is hard to believe that these high-profile people are allowed to commit suicide in jail cells when in our view they should be watched.

Spain had just approved him to be extradited to the U.S. to face tax evasion charges. He was separately in hot water for a “pump and dump” scheme allegedly. That scheme was related to cryptocurrencies, the highly volatile alternative currencies that became popular during the Covid-19 lockdowns.

His lawyers claim that it appears as though he hanged himself. Prison officials attempted to revive him but to no avail. He was also alleged to be part of a murder in Belize that McAfee got much scrutiny for. Time will tell if more details come out of this developing story. McAfee recently was somehow able to tweet this:

“The US believes I have hidden crypto. I wish I did but it has dissolved through the many hands of Team McAfee (your belief is not required), and my remaining assets are all seized. My friends evaporated through fear of association. I have nothing. Yet, I regret nothing.”

We will see if any investigation into his death comes from this information or if it fades away with time.
