Cindy McCain, the wife of late Senator and failed Republican presidential candidate John McCain is very bitter towards President Trump. This is because President Trump was never a fan of John McCain, especially not after his vote singlehandedly stopped the Republican party from overturning Obamacare.
Now Cindy is putting the nails in the coffin, with reports coming out that she is working to be a part of the Biden team, should the projections of Biden’s presidential win hold up after Trump’s legal challenges. Cindy McCain claims to want to find “good Republicans” to be able to work with the Biden-Harris administration.
This is hard to believe considering how liberal Kamala Harris and much of the Democrat party has become. Most GOP’ers have lost hope in the McCain family a long time ago, but if you haven’t yet, this should seal the deal. Cindy is trying to get the last laugh in the era of Trump, but Donald Trump is far from going away just yet.
“My job is to help put good Republicans into places within the administration,” Ms. McCain said on ABC’s “The View.” “This is an administration that’s going to be all-inclusive and there is a role for Republicans in the administration.”
Joe Biden is trying to appeal to even Trump voters, but it is unlikely that will happen, as the radical left will be tugging and whispering in his ear. This is in addition the fact that the Trump is pushing for investigations and lawsuits into what happened on election day in many swing states where President Trump was initially up, then slowly lost his lead in “just the states Biden needed”.
Time will tell if Cindy has much influence in the Biden administration one way or another, if if this is just a ploy for team Joe to try and pacify a very angry group of Republicans in the midst of one of the nation’s most divided points in recent history.
ABC News Politics tweeted a video of Cindy captioned:
“Cindy McCain to @TheView: “(Biden) put together a COVID task force to deal with this pandemic that includes and should include scientists and experts… it makes me feel good and safe to know that my next president will have my back on this COVID pandemic.””
