In the wake of so much racial division, violent left-wing right-wing protests, and anti-Trump rhetoric from much in the media, Hollywood actor Jon Voight posted a video on Twitter as a general call for peace and to speak about his thoughts on the President.
It appears as though he is either referencing the right-wing protests that were countered by sometimes violent AntiFa activists over the weekend in Portland, Oregon, or a more general reference to left-wing rhetoric.
Often the left spouts off lines like ‘love trumps hate’, while many of them simultaneously believe in shouting down people they don’t agree with, even those of whom which are only exercising their right to free speech. That’s not to defend people who speak hatefully, but rather to note that the radical left’s rhetoric of love and tolerance doesn’t always manifest the way they present it.
The legendary 80-year-old Hollywood actor who has been credited with over 60 roles started out by saying:
“This is not peace, this is not love, this is hate among the radical left. No amount of booksmart will show the given policy of what truth stands for.”
He then goes on to mention President Trump:
“I’ve said this many times, and I’m saying it again. From the deep truths of my heart and soul, President Trump is a man of truths, love, and justice for the American people.”
He goes on:
