Josh Hawley Responds to Walmart After Corporate Account Calls Him ‘Sore Loser’ for Objecting to Joe Biden Win, Asks Them to ‘Apologize for Using Slave Labor’

US Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) has hit back hard against Walmart after an apparent angry liberal employee got ahold of the corporate Twitter handle and called him a ‘sore loser’. Hawley took the high road, actually ‘thanking’ them for their ‘insulting condescension’. He went on to ask them to apologize for something completely unrelated.

We can only speculate as to what he means exactly by “slave labor” and we think it probably has to do with cheap foreign labor being used to make many of their plastic products and toys that Americans so rapidly consume.

It’s also important to note that Walmart has been able to stay open during the pandemic under President Trump while, sadly, many small stores and restaurants have lost their livelihoods, in part largely due to Democrat governors and mayors locking down in our view. Hawley tweeted:

“Thanks ⁦@Walmart⁩ for your insulting condescension. Now that you’ve insulted 75 million Americans, will you at least apologize for using slave labor?”… “Or maybe you’d like to apologize for the pathetic wages you pay your workers as you drive mom and pop stores out of business”:

We previously reported about the now deleted tweet here, and we also tweeted at and messaged Walmart to try to get a response, but none has been given as of yet.

“.@walmarthelp any statement on the deleted tweet slamming @HawleyMO?”

Although we didn’t take the screenshot ourselves, many different accounts posted the screenshot with different amounts of likes and retweets. With Senator Hawley’s official response it’s very likely the tweet was indeed 100% real.

Sooner or later it may behoove Walmart to issue a statement in response to their insult of what former FBI official and Trump hater Peter Strzok calls “smelly Walmart deplorables” (their customer base) from southwest Virginia and other rural America strongholds.

We will do our best to update you on this and much thanks to the h/t from National File on their version of the original story, which can also be read here. We initially reported in part:

Recently we reported that US Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) is objecting in the Senate to Joe Biden’s win of the 2020 presidential election. Apparently, an angry liberal is running the Twitter account of one of the largest corporations in the world, based in Arkansas, Walmart.

“Moments after Sen. @HawleyMO said he’d *object* to Electoral College certification on Jan. 6 due to states *failing* to follow election laws & “mega-corporations” interfering on behalf of Biden, @WalMart shows exactly what he means by calling him a *SORE LOSER.* Outrageous.”

UPDATE:

National File has now reported that Walmart has apologized:

In a statement provided to National File, Walmart apologized to Sen. Josh Hawley for appearing to bash his decision to join the January 6 Electoral College challenge in a post on its official corporate Twitter account.

“The tweet was mistakenly posted by a member of our social media team who intended to publish this comment to their personal account,” wrote Walmart in a statement to National File. “We have removed the post and have no intention of commenting on the subject of certifying the electoral college.”

“We apologize to Senator Hawley for this error and any confusion about our position.”

Walmart did not note whether the individual responsible for posting the comment will face any form of repercussions for, apparently accidentally, using the retail giant’s verified account to score political points against Republicans fighting for President Trump.
