Journalist Jack Posobiec ‘Detained’ By Police While Covering the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland

Journalist Jack Posobiec was “detained” by police today while covering the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

This year’s gathering in Davos will be “the most timely and consequential” in its over 50-year history, according to the forum’s founder, Klaus Schwab.

Posobiec shared a video of part of his interaction with the police as they are asking his crew for “video” that they have taken.

The police then tell Posobiec that he is not “allowed” to film. Posobiec protested but was met with continued resistance before finally abiding by their request.

Pennsylvania America First Senate candidate Kathy Barnette quote tweeted Posobiec and said, “PA, I tried to warn you. The WEF is no joke.”

“These people have big plans for us all. Our people MUST learn how to think critically to not so easily be manipulated by lies & disinformation,” Barnette insisted.

Barnette then declared that “The world is shifting & you need America First-minded leadership like never before.”

Ultimately, the police did appear to let Posobiec and his crew go about their business, as he tweeted a video of them leaving and said, “Go away, WEF Stasi.”

Fox Business reported that a variety of issues will be tackled at the forum, including the COVID-19 pandemic, global conflicts, economic uncertainty, and climate change.
