Joy Reid Melts Down, Says Trump is Going ‘Full Putin’ After ’12 More Years’ Joke at RNC

President Trump spoke at the RNC today in what Breaking911 calls a surprise visit, and he appears to have a great time rallying the crowd with some of that classic Donald humor. As the crowd chanted for 4 more years of Trump in support of his re-election, the president apparently thought it would be funny to toy with the mostly left-leaning media (in our opinion).

He said to the crowd, “Now, if you really want to drive them crazy, you say 12 more years”. Some of the crowd happy played along and actually chanted the obvious joke. Of course, the media took the bait, hook, line, and sinker. MSNBC’s Joy Reid, who we have covered over the last year more than once for her outlandish and shocking statements once again melted down with a treat comparing President Trump to Russian President Vladimir Putin. She posted to her feed:

“Trump (who seems quite excited about getting to do four days of faux rally) arrives at the @GOPconvention and gets the crowd to chant “12 more years.” TWELVE. He’s going full Putin, apparently. And his party is cool with it.”

Here is the video clip below where President Trump gets the RNC kicked off with some laughs:

Reid wasn’t the only one who seemed disturbed by President Trump’s obvious humor. CNN’s Jim Acosta, who loves fact-checking President Trump on jokes, also made note of this one as well. Previously we reported that Jim Acosta actually ‘fact-checked’ a standard one-liner joke that President Trump commonly makes at many of his famous rallies, where he says the lights on the cameras turn off when he says anything bad about the media. Acosta wanted to make sure people knew that wasn’t actually a thing.

Today’s tweet was a little more cryptic and he simply quoted the president without comment:

“Trump after chants of “four more years” – “If you really want to drive them crazy say 12 more years.” See tweet:

The RNC is sure to be rife with more headline-worthy stories as we tread into the waters of the convention over the next few days. Previously we reported on Joy Reid claiming that the United States is entering into a racial-cultural insurgency in part:

According to the current Twitter chatter, Rachel Maddow had an interesting show tonight. Based on tweets it sounds like she hurled a bunch of potentially baseless accusations at Republicans, including one of Trump’s lawyers allegedly collecting signatures for Kanye West to Republican Senators propagating a fake investigation into Joe Biden. Her show seems to have hit a chord with MSNBC commentator Joy Reid.

Reid took to Twitter herself to explain better herself what she claims Maddow was talking about. She starts off with, “what .@maddow is describing right now, between Republican Senators laundering Russian agitprop into fake investigations of Joe Biden, to the gutting of the Postal Service, to Pompeo having to sneak to warn Russia not to kill our troops while Trump talks to Putin EIGHT TIMES…” This all sounds like normal talking points from the left.

Then it spirals into something that is not only from left field but an entirely different stadium of ideas with her next tweet continuing, “…is nothing short of the transformation of an American political party — the Republicans — into an arm of a hostile foreign power. The Republican Party is not really the party of Trump. They are the party of Russia. That is a scary but unfortunately real thing.”
