Kamala Endorsed Black Woman Judge Jackson Can’t Tell GOP Senator Exactly What a Woman is During Hearing

In an ironic twist, the Kamala Harris endorsed Joe Biden pick to replace Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer couldn’t tell a GOP Senator yesterday exactly what a woman is during her hearing.

One of the primary prerequisites for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s selection was that she is a woman, as well as being black, according to the president.

U.S. Sen Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) asked Jackson during a line of questioning on gender, “Can you provide a definition for the word ‘woman?’”

“Can I provide a definition? No,” Jackson retorted, to which Blackburn responded matter-of-factly, “Uh-huh, yeah.”

“I can’t,” Jackson stressed.

Blackburn pressed, “You can’t?”

“Not in this context, I’m not a biologist,” Jackson explained.

Clearly taken aback, Blackburn then asked, “Do you believe the meaning of the word woman is so unclear and controversial that you can’t give me a definition?”

“Senator, in my work as a judge, what I do is I address disputes. If there’s a dispute about a definition, people make arguments, and I look at the law, and I decide,” Jackson insisted.

In a tweet this morning, Blackburn shared a video of the exchange and pointed out, “Judge Jackson can’t even define what a woman is.”
