Kayleigh McEnany Calls Out Dem Govs Mask Mandate Reversals: ‘The Science Has Not Changed, the Politics Have’

Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany today called out Democratic governors who are reversing their mask mandates.

In a tweet, McEnany reported, “The dam has broken as many Democrat governors FINALLY reverse mask mandates in schools.”

“But make no mistake: the science has not changed, the politics have,” McEnany declared.

As CBS News reported, Democratic governors in several states are rolling back mask mandates and made the announcement yesterday.

The governors are getting ahead of Biden administration guidance that still calls for masking in schools and many other indoor spaces. 

California Governor Gavin Newsom, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, Delaware Governor John Carney, and Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont were among the Democrat governors who announced some rollback of indoor masking requirements yesterday.

Discussing the situation later on “Outnumbered” McEnany wondered whether parents can “trust the media.”

McEnany then shared a clip of Dr. Leana Wen telling CNN that “the science suddenly changed,” according to the Fox News co-host.

MSNBC is also in hot water for a negative headline that they used when Virginia’s GOP Gov Glenn Youngkin lifted the state’s mask mandate versus one they made in regards to Murphy’s decision.
