Kayleigh McEnany Unconvinced by AOC’s Objections, Applauds House Republicans For Holding Hearing

Earlier, we reported that U.S. House Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) went on a rant today about a House hearing that was being held in regard to the Hunter Biden laptop story that was censored by Twitter.

That clip was played on Fox News’ “Outnumbered” and co-host Kayleigh McEnany applauded the House Republicans for holding the hearing.

Co-host Emily Compagno pointed out that McEnany had personally experienced censorship from the story being censored.

“That’s right, James Comer said October 10th, 2020, the story publishes and there was a coordinated campaign to suppress the New York Post, one of the five largest newspapers in the United States, including me, I was White House press secretary at the time, I shared it on my personal account, they blocked my personal account and would not unblock it until I took down the story,” McEnany explained.

McEnany continued, “What makes this galling is to think, and I’m so glad that James Comer is asking these questions, the FBI, while we are in office, the Trump administration is having weekly meetings with social media companies.”

“Not only that, they reportedly warned of a hack and leak operation against Hunter Biden. So imagine that, someone who is in the executive branch working, myself, and the FBI, same federal government, going behind the scenes, potentially coordinating with social media companies to suppress the voice of the American people as embodied in the executive branch,” McEnany insisted.

McEnany concluded, “It is appalling and good on the GOP for, it’s only January, asking the questions.”

Ocasio-Cortez apparently is not taking being in the minority in Congress well, as she suggested that instead, the body could be discussing left-wing subjects.

“So they’ve dragged a social media platform here in Congress. They’re weaponizing the use of this committee so that they can do it again,” Ocasio-Cortez began.

Ocasio-Cortez then appeared to be unaware of the Jan. 6 hearings that her own party held when they were in power last session as she ranted that the hearings were a waste of time.

“A whole hearing about a 24-hour hiccup in a right-wing political operation, that is why we are here right now and it is just an abuse of public resources, an abuse of public time,” Ocasio-Cortez complained.

Ocasio-Cortez concluded by listing out other things that she felt they should be discussing, without mentioning Jan. 6.

  1. AOC is a mouth! Nothing more, nothing less. She has something to say about almost EVERYTHING. Hope when she runs for re-election, her voters will have a change of heart and get her OUT of Congress!!
