Well, the Republicans have just about had it with House Intelligence Chairman and U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff (D). After Rep. Andy Biggs (R), the newly nominated leader of the House Freedom Caucus introduced legislation to censure Adam Schiff, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is signing on. The only thing here that’s really surprising is that something like this didn’t happen sooner.
After claiming to have solid evidence of Trump-Russia collusion during the Mueller investigation and ending up being wrong on that, more recently Schiff read off a ‘parody’ of Trump’s phone call with the Ukranian President. This is the call that was highlighted in the whistleblower report that has taken headlines by storm recently. Some say it wasn’t just a parody, but a lie meant to fool the average American. President Trump suggested Schiff be arrested for treason.
This morning after his decision, McCarthy, who has been very supportive of Trump’s America First agenda lately, tweeted out the news. “Chairman Adam Schiff has been lying to the American people for years. Now he is so desperate to damage the president that he literally made up a false version of a phone call.
Enough is enough. I have signed a resolution to censure Schiff in the House of Representatives.”

Enough is enough. I have signed a resolution to censure Schiff in the House of Representatives.
What’s next will be to see how Republicans and Democrats react, and if this resolution gets traction. Breitbart reported:
On Friday, Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) introduced a motion to condemn and censure Schiff for performing the fake conversation, saying in a statement that the stunt was “inexcusable” to “mislead the American public with such a statement.”
Although the White House last week released a transcript of the Trump-Zelensky call, Schiff made-up his own transcript that he read ahead of the testimony of acting DNI chief Joseph Maguire in which he accused the president of engaging in quid pro quo with the intent of exchanging U.S. military aid to Ukraine for an investigation into Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice President and 2020 White House hopeful Joe Biden.
