Kid Rock Blasts Taylor Swift in Shocking Tweet

Kid Rock tweeted today:

Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies….period. And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there. Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl.

Some supporting evidence as to what he is alluding to can be read about below, minus the eye-opening angle he put on it of course.

Taylor Swift is playing Bombalurina, a strong female cat who flirts with all-male cats in the remake of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats based off of T.S. Eliot’s book, Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats.

For the majority of her career, Swift had stayed silent until recently she has taken a hard-line stance for the LGBTQ+ community. She accredits her recent change to her friend and gay back up dancer Todrick Hall. He asked her “What would you do if your son was gay?”

This question “woke” her to the realization that even if she isn’t part of a community she can take a stance and voice her options to make them clear to the public. Even though she has been subtle about her stances on this topic, they have been apparent in her music videos.

Taylor is also against businesses who choose not to service the LGBTQ+ community because of religious reasons. She came out against Marsha Blackburn before the election last year for her apparent anti-LGBTQ+ marriage stance.

The older Taylor Swift gets, the more of a younger and freer spirited attitude she seems to have. As a teenager, she was an entrepreneur who wrote songs for other artists as she started her own music career. As she got older and started to date, she did what was typical of many teenagers and moved from relationship to relationship. However, a reference to this still continues as a running joke with her peers as something that continues to help her find more song material.

Since Kid Rock’s tweet, the internet has hit back and @JoeDirt is now trending as ‘haters’ (and some fans) of Kid Rock’s are noting his part he played in that movie.
