Latino Journalist Cancels Interview With Chicago Mayor Lightfoot Since She Refuses to Talk to White Journalists: ‘Politicians Don’t Get to Choose Who Covers Them’

The Chicago Mayor, Lori Lightfoot has thrust herself into the controversy limelight once again. After months of failing to crack down on out of control Antifa and Black Lives Matters rioters and looters, and in the view of many tyrannical lockdowns for a year, Lightfoot is being called out for her newest stunt.

It has been reported that after not doing a lot of interviews, the failed Mayor of Chicago is granting one on ones to certain journalists, but only if they’re not White. Or as many outlets like to say, “Black or Brown” people.

Chicago Tribune reporter Gregory Pratt was one the “lucky” few to get an interview. But when he found out about Lightfoot’s conditions, he decided that is just not cool. Pratt is doing something shocking, standing up for his fellow Americans, and in this instance in particular, White people.

After finding out about the situation and being granted an interview he asked the Mayor’s office not to have conditions such as ones cancelling people for being White. They did not accomodate Pratt, so he canceled his interview to make a statement. Pratt tweeted:

“I am a Latino reporter @chicagotribune whose interview request was granted for today. However, I asked the mayor’s office to lift its condition on others and when they said no, we respectfully canceled. Politicians don’t get to choose who covers them.”

This was in response to an NBC reporter who originally tweeted about Lightfoot’s conditions, saying:

“As ⁦@chicagosmayor⁩ reaches her two year midway point as mayor, her spokeswoman says Lightfoot is granting 1 on 1 interviews – only to Black or Brown journalists”

Many liberals and even some conservatives have refused to acknowledge the growing anti-White bias in the nation and from Democrats. Perhaps that is starting to change. Updates to come if we are able to procure them.
