Yesterday, we reported that NBA superstar LeBron James temporarily used his large platform on Twitter to threaten a Columbus police officer who is purported to have killed a 16-year-old girl who was attempting to stab another teenage girl.
James shared a tweet with a picture of the officer and said, “You’re next.” He later deleted the tweet and offered up his reasoning for tweeting it in the first place.
U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) mentioned James’ tweet today in a tweet where said that she believes he “truly has a lot of nerve targeting a police officer for doing his job.”
Boebert suggested that James is beholden to China and that his “constant push for division in this country is obscene,” adding, “talking about oppression from a multi-million dollar mansion..”

I’m not sure what China has on him, but his constant push for division in this country is obscene.
Talking about oppression from a multi-million dollar mansion…
Prior to that, Boebert retweeted America First supporter Jarome Bell, who exclaimed, “If Lebron James’s net worth is what oppression in America looks like, please Lord oppress me!”

Bell, who is a black republican running for U.S. Congress in Virginia’s second district, has received a lot of backlash that his tweet was elevated by Boebert from Twitter users that constantly troll her feed.
Later, Boebert referenced the situation with Columbus police officer in another tweet where she stated, “Police officers are supposed to stop knife fights,” and then asked, “How are we debating this?”
