It was reported last week that Kamala Harris has turned to Hillary Clinton for advice to reverse dire poll numbers that have plagued her through her first year as vice president.
Clinton recently told the New York Times that Harris isn’t being treated equally in comparison to her white male predecessors.
“There is a double standard; it’s sadly alive and well,” Clinton claimed.
Clinton insisted, “A lot of what is being used to judge her, just like it was to judge me, or the women who ran in 2020, or everybody else, is really colored by that.”
U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert isn’t buying it and in a tweet declared, “Kamala Harris asking Hillary Clinton for advice on how to reverse the plummet of her approval ratings is like a hyena asking a lion how to be a vegan.”

A recent Gallup poll conducted from Dec. 1 to 16 showed Harris’ approval rating stood at 44 percent and her disapproval was 54 percent, while 1 percent had no opinion.
As Newsweek noted, Harris’ net disapproval in the poll stands at +10 percent with apparently little room to win over undecided Americans.
The vice president has had a difficult first year in office, facing an exodus of senior staff and a series of damaging news stories that suggested a rift between her and the president.
In addition to being a frequent target of criticism from conservatives, particularly for her role in dealing with immigration and the southern border, left-leaning news sources have also painted a picture of Harris struggling.
