U.S. Congressman Lauren Boebert (R-CO) today praised Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld for “crushing” late-night “comedians” after a New York Times report wondering what their future is.
Boebert sounded off in a quote tweet of the Times that reported, “Trevor Noah is leaving ‘The Daily Show.’ James Corden will depart ‘The Late Late Show.’ TBS canceled ‘Full Frontal With Samantha Bee.’ ‘The Tonight Show’ could begin earlier.”
“The big question in TV now: What’s the future of the late-night talk show?” the Times asked.
In the quote tweet, Boebert said, “.@GregGutfeld is crushing them all in ratings. It’s not about late night.”
“It’s about woke foolishness. None of them have any material other than mocking conservatives. Go woke. Go broke,” Boebert explained.

The tweet from the Times received a good deal of response including left-wing troll Jeff Tiedrich who questioned, “and why is it bad news for Joe Biden?”

One conservative Twitter user told the Times, “They stopped being funny when they all competed to be the ‘orange man bad’ hour.”

As we previously reported, CBS may potentially replace James Corden’s “Late Late Show” with a multi-host panel show like Fox News’ “Gutfeld!” when he exits later this year.
At the end of September, we also reported that Trevor Noah announced that he would be leaving “The Daily Show” which he has hosted for the past seven years since 2015.
