U.S. House Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) shared that she believes FBI director Christopher Wray is aiding Joe Biden and covering up a bribery scheme perpetrated by Biden when he was VP.
“The FBI’s documents prove that Joe Biden engaged in a $5 million bribery scheme as Vice President. jChristopher Wray knew this and covered it up. On Thursday, Wray’s contempt of Congress hearings will begin. Enough is enough.”
Earlier today after the FBI refused to leave a document subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee on Capitol Hill, James Comer (R-KY), Chairman of the committee announced in a press briefing that contempt of congress hearings would begin Thursday.
The whistleblower document alleged that then Vice President Biden engaged in a pay-to-play scheme with a foreign nation. The document describes that Biden agreed to certain actions in exchange for $5 million to his family’s shell corporations.
Comer sent a subpoena to the FBI requesting the document, with a deadline of May 30th. When the FBI failed to comply with the subpoena by the date he threatened to hold Wray in contempt of congress. Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy indicated he would support Comer in the process.
After this development, Wray agreed to bring the document to Capitol Hill. A briefing was held today and the document was present, however, the FBI refused to leave the document on Capitol Hill.
Comer quickly announced after the briefing that contempt of Congress hearings were set to be held this Thursday.
U.S. House Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) appears to believe that the FBI is afraid for the whistleblower’s life as she indicated in a tweet. You can read more about that here.
