Lauren Boebert Tells ‘Joy-Less’ Behar to ‘Go back to Your Sex Strike’ After ‘The View’ Co-Host Calls Her Gun-Toting Christmas Photo ‘Obscene’

Co-Host of “The View” Joy Behar decided to call out U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) yesterday after Saturday’s Buffalo shooting massacre.

That came after Behar called Chair of the House Republican Conference Elise Stefanik (NY) a “disgrace to her position” who “needs to be voted out ASAP” in a quote tweet.

Behar shared a gun-toting Christmas photo of Boebert and her children in a tweet and declared, “This is obscene” without tagging the Colorado Congresswoman.

Boebert wasted no time today in firing back after being made aware of the dig and told Behar in a quote tweet, “Joy-less, we know you hate America. Go back to your sex strike.”

As we reported earlier this month, Behar, who was clearly incensed about the possibility of Roe vs. Wade being overturned after the Supreme Court draft leak, gave a history lesson on “sex strikes.”

While Behar didn’t appear to be going so far as to call for one or propose one during the lesson, she did declare that “We have more power than we think.”

In a clip that was shared in a tweet on “The View’s” Twitter account, Behar began, “Women in the world have conducted sex strikes in history.”

“In 2003, a sex strike helped to end Liberia’s brutal civil war, and the woman who started it was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize,” Behar continued as co-host Whoopi Goldberg can be seen smiling and nodding.

Behar then said that “In 2009, Kenyan women forced a sex ban until political in-fighting ceased. Within one week, there was a stable government.”

“Ok, so, we have more power than we think we have, and some of it could be right in the bedroom, just saying,” Behar said.
