U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) offered up her opinion in a tweet prior to tonight’s State of the Union address from Joe Biden.
Biden is expected to deliver the State of the Union address at 9 p.m. ET. and Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds will deliver the Republican Party’s rebuttal, but it appears that Boebert isn’t worried about what he might say.
In Boebert’s view, “The best way to improve the State of the Union is for Biden to announce his resignation.”

Boebert has also been critical of the placement of seating for members of Congress compared with White House staff.
In another tweet, Boebert declared, “White House staff have seats on the floor while Members of Congress have been placed in the gallery. Totally absurd.”

Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany shared the opening to then-President Donald Trump’s 2020 SOTU speech and noted, “makes you realize how far we’ve fallen.”
“Jobs are booming, incomes are soaring, poverty is plummeting, crime is falling, confidence is surging & our country is thriving. America’s enemies are on the run, America’s fortunes are on the rise,” Trump said at the time.
Biden will likely try to share a similar message but whether the American public will buy it or not remains to be seen.

U.S. House Rep and member of “The Squad” Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is also expected to give a response on behalf of the left-wing Working Families Party.
