It was reported today that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was not so warmly received when she made a surprise guest appearance at the Global Citizen’s music festival in New York City’s Central Park last night.
A video shared by Twitter user Megan Palin, was described as Pelosi getting “savagely booed while appearing at Global Citizen festival in Central Park NYC to talk about climate change.”
One Twitter user attempted to question Palin by asking, “Wait, where are the boos…??”
Palin then shared another video where she said, “The boos are more audible in this clip.”
Pelosi appears to be describing how the audience’s actions are helping to save the planet and she ended up repeating the words “your actions,” which shows her attempting to emphasize it over the blowback.
U.S. Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO) seized upon the situation to warn Pelosi that more boos are coming on Nov. 8, when the midterm elections take place.
“Get used to it, Fancy Nancy. November 8th you’ll be booed out of the majority,” Boebert declared.
Get used to it, Fancy Nancy.

According to the New York Post, Pelosi said after her introduction, “As speaker of the house, I am here to thank you for your dazzling advocacy, entrepreneurial thinking, and determination as global citizens.”
“It’s thanks to your help that the United States recently enacted historic climate legislation, which will be a game changer,” Pelosi continued.
Pelosi concluded, “It will slash carbon pollution by 40% by 2030, it will give a historic, a historic $370 billion to fight the climate crisis.”
