UPDATE: In the interest of full accuracy, the link to the Politifact story has now been fixed, and you can now read about how Joe Biden’s claims were “mostly false” once again, on their website, as can be seen in our screenshot from 9:35 AM ET. See the image below:
Continue on to our original story below:
Earlier this week President Joe Biden issued 6 gun executive orders. He was also seen in a video saying that anyone can go to a gun show and buy a gun. Well, that information is just patently false.
“President @JoeBiden: “You go to a gun show, you can buy whatever you want– and no background check.”

Politifact’s tweet read:
“NEW: In today’s gun policy address, President Biden exaggerated about background checks at gun shows. Mostly False. https://bit.ly/2Qcp1eY“

When we clicked the link on the Politifact article though, it took us to a page that doesn’t exist, with a strange alert. We went to the Politifact front page and clicked the link again and it took us to the same error page. Here is the image we got:
“Here’s a fact: You ended up in the wrong place!” The page says, and then they gave themselves a “TRUE” on that statement. We are going to give them the benefit of the doubt and “circle back” later to see if their story is fixed and/or updated. Perhaps White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki will also circle back for us later to clear up the gun facts.
We here at Media Right News have had Politifact accidentally fact-check our memes and have to go back and fix them through Facebook on more than one occasion, so it isn’t uncommon to see a fact-checker botch something up without having a manual review by a human in a reasonable time. We don’t claim to be perfect ourselves, although we do our best, and we are not in the business of “fact-checking” other people either.
One thing we know for sure is that Biden’s wild accusations about how easy it is to get a gun were not true. Have a nice morning and continue to follow Media Right News for more updates!
