Left Wing Twitter Praises Romney After He Calls Roger Stone Commutation ‘Unprecedented Corruption’

Utah Senator Mitt Romney is in the good graces of many left wing Twitter users today after criticizing President Trump for commuting Roger Stone’s sentence.

Romney tweeted out that the commutation was “Unprecedented, historic corruption: an American president commutes the sentence of a person convicted by a jury of lying to shield that very president.”

Left-wing wife of a Krassenstein brother responded by praising Romney, saying he “will go down in History as the single Republican with integrity. “the single Republican with integrity.”

She added that she believes “Trump is commuting Roger Stone in order to prevent him from handing over evidence that would destroy him both legally and politically. This is the definition of corruption.”

Another user, Jersey Democrat Jo, shared a political cartoon that described Romney as “a profile in courage” that pictured him standing up while others around him were bowing.

She thanked him for “standing alone” while “Your party has abandoned the people of this country. They’ve abandoned the Constitution. Their wholesale abdication to a corrupt madman, could very well be the downfall of this Republic.” She claimed, “History will not forget you, nor will it forgive them.”
