Fox News contributor and civil rights attorney Leo Terrell today dropped the hammer on U.S. House Rep Liz Cheney (R-WY), who was in the news today after the Washington Post reported that Jan. 6 U.S. House Select Committee staffers are angry at her for focusing so much of the committee’s report on former President and 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Terrell declared in an initial tweet that he believes, “Liz Cheney is all about Liz Cheney!”
In a subsequent tweet, Terrell chided Cheney, “Attention Liz Cheney: Your lame duck status terminates on January 2, 2023. #Trump2024“

In a Truth Social post, Trump also mocked Cheney for the report as he said that those that know her “are not surprised” by the headline.
Trump explained that it is “because she is a complete PSYCHO, has no regard for the truth as to what really happened, and is angry that the people of the Great State of Wyoming put her out to pasture in a record setting defeat.”
“She blames me for this, but she only has herself to blame. Pelosi loved watching ‘Liz’ go BONKERS!” Trump insisted.
Fifteen former and current staffers for the Jan. 6 panel told the Post that Cheney, the committee’s vice chair, has exerted high levels of control over the investigation and the final report.
Some of the staffers even said they felt that Cheney’s focus on Trump was for her own political gain, with one suggesting the committee “became a Cheney 2024 campaign.”
