Lin Wood Calls For VP Pence To Be Arrested After He Urged the Court to Reject Gohmert’s Suit Against Him

In a brief filed yesterday, Vice President Mike Pence urged a U.S. Federal court to reject GOP Texas House Rep. Gohmert’s suit against him, arguing that his fight is with the House and Senate, not the vice president, who would be empowered if Gohmert wins.

Attorney Lin Wood tweeted out last night about the news, “Wow! Mike Pence VP Mike Pence announces on New Year’s Eve that he no longer plans to pursue career in politics!”

“Guess all those who said he is an egomaniac wolf in sheep’s clothing focused on a run in 2024 were wrong. Good call, Mike. You are not fit to be President anyway,” Wood added.

Today, Wood issued a three part tweet to further explain his opinion where he began, “For two months we have focused on accusing the Democrats of attempting to steal the 20/20 election for Biden. We focused on the Presidential election.”

“We focused on the obvious. Over time, we have learned that the Democrats were joined by CCP & other foreign countries. We have also learned that the Globalists like George Soros & the Elitists like Bill Gates were involved. CIA too (no surprise – military industrial complex),” Wood continued.

Wood then explained, “It all seemed so clear we overlooked one of the main participants in the theft of the election: THE REPUBLICANS. These groups aspire to the goals of Communism. A ruling elite & an oppressed class of people who exist to serve those in power.”

“When arrests for treason begin, put Chief Justice John Roberts, VP Mike Pence, & Mitch McConnell at top of list,” Wood concluded, indicating what he believes should happen to those that he feels have ultimately betrayed President Trump.

One Twitter user, “Courie dennis,” wanted Wood to elaborate further and said, “So Pence will save the election as President of the senate then get arrested. Not a chance. Something in your logic doesn’t add up. Please explain.”

Wood answered, “If Pence is arrested, Secretary Mike Pompeo will save the election. Pence will be in jail awaiting trial for treason. He will face execution by firing squad. He is a coward & will sing like a bird & confess ALL.”

Gohmer responded to Vice President Pence’s brief today and argued that ““Under the Constitution, he [Pence] has the authority to conduct that proceeding as he sees fit.”

“He may count elector votes certified by a state’s executive, or he can prefer a competing slate of duly qualified electors. He may ignore all electors from a certain state. That is the power bestowed upon him by the Constitution,” Gohmert wrote.
