Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has caused a stir by suggesting that the actions taken by Kamala Harris to bail out rioters over the summer might come into play at the impeachment trial of former President Trump.
Speaking to Sean Hannity on Fox News last night, Graham said, “If you’re going to pursue this, and you wanna start calling witnesses, and you want to drag this thing out, it would be fair to have Kamala Harris’ tape play where she bailed people out of jail.”
“What more could you do to incite future violence, than to pay the bail of the people who broke up the shops and beat up the cops. How’s that not inciting future violence? Be careful what you wish for my Democratic colleagues, be careful what you wish for,” Graham added.
It was recently reported that a man who was twice bailed out of jail in separate cases by the fund supported by Harris has been arrested again while under investigation for another possible case according to Minnesota prosecutors said.
On June 1, Harris posted a link to the “Minnesota Freedom Fund” in a tweet and said, “If you’re able to, chip in now to the @MNFreedomFund to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota.”

Over the summer, during a Trump rally, the former president noted that Harris had promoted the fund and also said that President Biden and his campaign staff did the same.
