Yesterday we reported that Ron DeSantis received a warm reception at a Florida concert. Country megastar Luke Bryan was the host. Bryan is more likely a right-leaning person if we had to guess. However, he appears more moderate and generally doesn’t speak about politics.
If we had to do a comparison, we would probably use Jason Aldean and his wife, who alternatively have indeed been more political. Many celebrities and actors don’t get political unless they’re left-wing because it’s easier to do so.
When a famous person “comes out” as right-wing, there is often much pushback. Rock star Kid Rock has talked about this issue in detail, although he in particular is not concerned with what leftists think of his support for former and possible future President Donald J. Trump.

“Governor Desantis [sic] is a very polarizing figure. But I grew up in a country where if a governor asks you if they can come and raise awareness to help victims of a natural disaster you help. I’ve generally stayed out of politics throughout my career. I knew people would chatter about this but for me the more important piece was if I am going to come back there a few weeks after a large portion of people have been affected by a natural disaster in a state where people have been good to me this felt right. Raise awareness, have a little fun between the GA and FL college fans before the fame and do what I love on stage.

In our view:
If I had to guess, most singers would not have to explain if Joe Biden or Barack Obama hopped on their stage. It’s a shame we live in an imbalanced world like this. Clearly Luke Bryan likes DeSantis but wants to keep his fan base happy and focused on the music as well.

Even if I never heard of Luke Bryan I would go out and buy as much of his music as possible and would listen to what a true human being has to sing about. I would love his music and his well being.
